Before entering the world of UX, maybe about a week before, I was snooping around to see what kind of people I would end up spending two months of my life with.  I jumped on the class’ Slack channel to see who had been added.  I was surprised by two things: 

1. My class was large! There were 19 people coming from….somewhere, deciding to take two months off of work to learn UX
2.  There were only 5 men in the class.

I was surprised because I imagined the tech world to be the other way around.  I wasn’t sure how the actual class would play out.  

I think it would have been great either way, but I can’t say I’m not impressed with my classmates, and I see a bright future ahead for them.
