I stayed in Montreal in late August and I loved it. If Portland, Oregon and New York City and Paris had a baby, it would be Montreal.
We stayed just outside of Gay Village which is pretty much the best place to stay as a jumping point into the city. The city is incredibly easy to travel in. The metro is so easy that I went to it alone many times without worrying about getting lost. I wouldn’t have done that in Paris or New York!
Life in Montreal is just refreshing. I want to go back soon.
