I was fortunate enough to experience many geographic regions within the US in 2021, including the Southwest (Nevada), West Coast (Los Angeles), Midwest (Grand Rapids), Pacific Northwest (Spokane), and a few Pacific Islands (Hawaii). I was able to appreciate many of the subcultures of the US that have developed within these regions, many evolving around the geography, weather, and local farm crops. What are some of the other differences that create subcultures within the US, and are we really that different are we from each other? Fun things to think about.
